How ProcessorFit keeps provider information current, what the Data Status cards mean, and how to request an update.

ProcessorFit targets quarterly reviews for provider pricing and comparison pages, and bi-annual or annual reviews for other content. Every profile shows a last reviewed date and a Data Status card indicating how many fields are confirmed versus pending verification. If you find outdated information, you can submit a correction through the Community Update Center at /update.
Every provider profile, comparison page, and guide on ProcessorFit displays a "Last reviewed" date. This date indicates the most recent time a member of the ProcessorFit editorial team checked the content against primary sources.
The last reviewed date is not a guarantee of accuracy as of today. Provider pricing, features, terms, and availability can change at any time. Merchants should treat the last reviewed date as a signal of relative recency — a profile reviewed two weeks ago is more likely to be current than one reviewed eight months ago — but not as a certification of current accuracy.
Always verify: Before signing any merchant agreement, verify current pricing, contract terms, and supported business types directly with the provider — regardless of when a ProcessorFit profile was last reviewed.
Each provider profile includes a Data Status card that provides transparency about the current state of that profile's information:
Last reviewed
Date the profile was most recently checked against primary sources
Public sources
Number of distinct primary sources consulted for this profile
Unconfirmed fields
Number of fields labeled 'Needs Verification' because they could not be confirmed from public sources
A high number of "Needs Verification" fields on a profile does not indicate that the provider is problematic — it often means the provider does not publicly disclose certain information (common for enterprise and quote-based processors). It means merchants need to verify those fields directly.
ProcessorFit uses a target-based rolling review schedule. Actual review frequency may vary based on editorial team capacity, provider activity, and correction request volume.

All correction requests are reviewed against available primary sources. If the change is confirmed, the relevant content is updated and the last reviewed date is refreshed. If the source cannot be confirmed as primary and public, the field may be labeled "Needs Verification" pending further review.

You can submit a correction request through the ProcessorFit Community Update Center at processorfit.com/update. Include the provider name, the field you believe is outdated or incorrect, and the source you are referencing. ProcessorFit reviews all correction requests against available primary sources and updates content if the change is confirmed.
An early review may be triggered by a reader or provider correction request, a significant public announcement by a provider (major pricing change, new product launch, acquisition), or an editorial team finding during research on a related profile. Early reviews follow the same process as scheduled periodic reviews.
No. Different content types are reviewed on different schedules based on how quickly the underlying information changes.
